Someone must’ve spent a lot of time harvesting the Motor City Quarters because there seem to be a lot of racks out there floating around. They are popular and for good reason too!
The new inlay of MC chips will definitely deter harvesting in the future.

The thing is that the size of these inlays (I believe it's called "super grand") makes them lousy relabel candidates. The inlay is bigger than the recess - it extends out onto the "shoulders" of the chip.
If you tried to relable over it with a label of the same size, it would get crinkled, because it couldn't lay flat.
If you tried to just use a label the size of the recess, you'd see the edges of the original inlay still exposed and it would look sloppy.

I see what you mean. Can you get a label that uses the exposed edge and blends it into it? Would these have to be milled somehow? Is it possible to make these work? Worst case just use them as fracs as is.

I really like these. Just can’t justify the $250 for them to the wife. Lol
 
Seriously, these are AWESOME chips at a good price. With the hideous quarters they just brought into play; these will be HARD to get. Buy them now before they get more pricey. These are great with Crystal Park sets and quite a few other RHC cash game sets. At the very least, send Vince a solid offer in PM. He is a good guy.

Those dont look aweful. Not as nice but Id harvest a rack of them to keep for the collection.
I didnt know these were still live.
I bought two racks 6 or 7 years ago maybe by now.
They must be beat up by now.


Do they not let you take them off the table that they are hard to get?
These are one of my more favorite quarters I have.
