This seems like an error chip (wrong color base). Can anyone else with more familiarity confirm? I want this SO MUCH, but have decided to try and avoid MS singles this year. Hopefully someone on the Forum can take care of this one!

EDIT: Please be aware -- This is NOT an error chip after all. Just a normal Imperial Palace frac that is peach in color. The scanner has caused the color to be misrepresented.

II had a few barrels of these and they are definitely peachy. Maybe the flash made the photo brighter and the color lighter?

No, it's a limitation of the scanner used, not a flash problem.

Peach (and blaze orange, hot pink, etc.) fall in a part of the spectrum that cheap scanners can't capture properly. You see this over and over and over on Chip Guide scans, eBay pics, etc.

CIS scanners (contact image sensor) have far less color fidelity than CCD scanners.

e.g. this chip is Fuchsia, but looks almost grey when scanned with the same kind of scanner.

a proper photo of the actual chip:

Note: Permission for the chip guide to use the above photo (taken by me) is hereby explicitly denied.
