3 of a Kind
Over the years when I have someone I know whether it's a friend or family or patient was going to someplace that I knew there was a casino I would give them five or $10 and say hey bring me back a blue or red or white chip.
Our game was pretty degenerate. Most of the guys had jobs but never brought money to the games except for me and one other guy. At that time the other guy was a winning player so he really didn't have to bring money.
I was a fish although at the time I didn't realize that that was my title.
It actually was really good for me to play every hand to the end because I saw every hand to the end and I learned a ton about people and cards and I think in a strange way I'm such a better player for today. It was my version of online poker-- maximum hands played.
But this is about chips.
So I slowly accumulated a mixed casino bag of chips that got bigger and bigger and was transported from each house to each game every week in a box.
And this is today's version of that set.
Recently I seem to have focused on more of the Golden Nugget and four queens and flamingo chips but it really is a very mixed casino set.
It's still evolving but this is the current 500 chip alliteration of this set.
