Who wants to help me pop my Paulson cherry ?!?!?! :p

Wish list
-Cash set that can accommodate .25/.50 up to 1/2 if possible (500-800 chips)
-Moderately priced, meaning I am not looking to spend $3 a chip
-Does not have to be minty fresh but prefer them not to look beat up either
-Some sets that catch my eye to give an idea of taste
-Bennys
-Terribles
-WTH&C
-GCOP

I understand those sets don't meet the criteria but just giving some examples of sets I like in terms of aesthetics

Anyone have suggestions or maybe something they would be willing to part with to help a fellow wanna be chipper ??:D

I have a set of 500 Garden City chips that's available...

200x $.25 hot stamps
200x $1
80x $5
20x $20

Price is $360 out the door. One rack of $1's is in pretty good shape; the other is pretty rounded. The fracs are mostly all in good shape (and where the vast majority of the set's value is derived from). The $5's are pretty decent; the $20's are fairly worn, but still serviceable.

This is a great deal! I would take it but I'm going to get the Paulson National Poker Series chips from another thread.

I know beggars can't be choosers.......but I am not a fan of the giant inlays on the 5's and 20's

Given your criteria in the OP, the Garden City chips are about the best deal you're ever gonna get. All of my 25c-based Paulson cash sets are in the $$$ range. Fracs are not cheap, and spotted THC chips in good condition are not cheap either -- combine the two into a single casino set and you're typically talking big bucks.

If I were in your shoes, I'd jump on those and then replace the $5 chips with something else you like when it pops up on the market.

The Garden City set has sold. Thanks for the nod, though!

In the chip world, you snooze you lose!

I think I know somebody  the catch is I'm not home to get chips until July. I'm sure I can help you. PM me with a breakdown.
