Hi everyone, it is my first time here and I needed some help answering a question. Let me explain the situation.

I recently bought a 400 piece generic Vegas style chipset. However, the chips didn't come with the money values inlaid.

I don't want to continue to play with the chips with no money values attached. I want to put the decals/stickers on them. I need 1,5,10,20,50 and 100.

I honestly do not need any custom logo or design. Just the cash values on both sides.

Can this be bought pre-made? Or do I have to make it? Thanks!

You don’t need all those denominations for poker either. Are you playing cash games or tournaments?

We play cash games. Just small limit stuff. Currently, we have to just say for example " the red chips are worth x, the green chips y etc. But once everyone gets to drinking it can be hard to remember..... Simply put, I just want a way to quickly visually identify the value of each chip.

Thanks again for your help.

Hello, welcome. Take a deep breath. Listen to what some people have to say about starting out. There’s a lot of great advice here. Enjoy the chip journey!

Contact @Gear. Gear labels in the classifieds. Can probably help you.
Welcome @TheTexan1984. I also recommend @Gear labels. However, your labels might be worth more than your chips. Do yourself a favor and "rent" better chips (that retain their value instead of being worthless the moment you buy them). Plenty of options are available in the classifieds at various price points. Also check out @Apache for chips with excellent value.

Also, if your inexpensive chips do not have a (deep enough) recess for the sticker to sit in, then they will create "spinners" and won't stack well. You may be better off taking the money you would have used for labels to save toward a better set of chips with inlaid or stamped denominations that you need.

Hello and welcome!

I appreciate all of your help and advice. I have seen this @Gear recommended more than once now. I will try to get in touch with him/her. See if they can help me out. Ya, the idea is not to spend more on the labels than the chips are worth! Hopefully I can accomplish that.

There are programs out there that come in a kit so you can print your own labels... I agree the cost of new labels will probably cost you more than buying another set.... then pawn that one off on your buddies, some one there has no chips or using dice chips... also you can throw them back on Feebay. @toynoob alive and well my friend!!

If the chips started out with no labels there may not be depth to add a label. Post a pic and we can confirm.

There are also a lot of relatively inexpensive options with denominated chips...the most cost efficient may be to just go with one of those and sell the chips you have now (probably won’t find a market here, but Facebook, letgo, etc)

Maybe get some samples of other chips that have denominations on them. Then you will know what you like. Like stated above, the label idea probably won't work with the chips you have.
