Doing a morning check of eBay turns up a BIN auction for " Vintage-Inlaid-Ships-Wheel-Poker-Chips-100-lavender-100-green-99-yellow " Roughly ten cents each after shipping.

Well - boogers!

Turns out I should have looked very carefully at the pictures. Don't pay attention to the "old" boxes or the discolorations on the chips. What I should have seen is the edges are sharp which means these chips are ceramic knockoffs not 75 year old vintage chips. It is really obvious when side by side with the real chips of this type.

A bit misleading, that auction..... def not vintage, except for the really old chip boxes used to perpetuate the myth. Could probably make a case for an eBay-forced refund.
