I bought these chips when they were first released from Apache. I absolutely loved them then and still do. Sorry for the bad cell phone pics.

When the second version of these came out is when they really hooked me. The t25 I always felt was too dark and I was never a big fan of the t500. The second version gave me the chance to change that.
The t5000 was a semi custom I scored off of a CT member. I traded 20 of the silver t5000 and paid for the rest.

Very nice set. I like those pink $5000s. Recently missed out on a set FS in France with some of those. I prefer the new $25 and also prefer the new hundo. The purple $500s are great. Gee I wish I bought a set back in the day as well. Have been searching for chips to complete my set for 11 months now and not found a single person selling. Well, apart from that guy in France but I missed out. Nice chips

Last week I decided to sell mine since I can't complete the set. Will be sad to give up on them but a year is long enough for me. I just haven't actually listed them yet.

I liked the base colour of the silver 5000. Hated the edgespots though.

Yeah the silver is great. The dots have actually grown on me over time too. I have a couple of racks of the NCV silvers and might even keep them when I sell the PCRs - they might come in handy as fracs with another set at some stage.

PCR's were my first "real" poker chip set, Jan 09 I bought 300 of the NCV in 2008 for $202.50 total off eBay or maybe on CT, then started buying the denoms...sold off all the NCV (dumb move) and still have 800+ denoms which i will add to from time to time if i can steal them cheap, just added 80 of the yellow 1,000 last month but they dont get used as often as i like, dont see them getting sold off by me any time soon....great chips, my opinion.

(the only reason i know what i paid and when, looked in an old poker folder, had all my purchases writtin down on the back of an envelope, stopped keepin track when i ran out of room on the envelope and i was over $500 ,lol)

I remember your set. That was a while ago. You could probably put together a nice gallery of sets you've owned.
