Here is what I think of the bank chips after about 2 years or so of using them.
The chips are great over all. They are dead flat, feel great, sound great. However, some of the denominations are far more slippery that others.
Here are the ones I own, ranked on slipperiness:
1s (white) - slippery (ok, but annoying)
5s (red) - fantastic (not slippery)
10s (light blue) - fantastic
25s (green) - fantastic
100s (black) - crazy slippery (almost unplayable)
The red, light blue, and green chips are so great that, if I didn’t have an order from CPC on the way, I would definitely order a couple more denominations and do a relabel project on the bank chips, because if you could make the whole set play as great as the non-slippery chips, you could have an awesome set.
I would personally make the light blue chips 1s, leave the 5s red, leave the 25s green, and maybe make the 1000s (yellow) into fracs? But, I would have to hope that the yellows are one of the non slippery chips.
