Really nice table I like the colors. Kinda says "classy" with the brown suede rail and the neutral colored speed cloth. I would also like to know how much you have into that table $$$. I think I want to build one too.

I am pretty handy, I used to do construction work for a general contractor before I got into computers and started geeking out.

Not sure of the total cost because he bought all the materials, but everything was from your auto trim

your auto trim has good deals going on right now - $175 for all the materials shipped - 2 sheets of plywood - about $55 and legs about $30, cup holders, 35 -- a basic table for me is costing about $300 right now for me in materials.

Did you use the padded suede or Reno suede from YAT

It is padded rail suede. Very nice and easy to work with

I love the look and feel of the suede rail but I wonder if my savage guests wouldn't destroy it. Vinyl is easy to clean up.

I suppose it depends on how much usage it gets but certainly the vinyl is more durable

what are the dimensions of the table (rail width, overall length and width)? what would you say is an ideal size for an oval table with a dedicated dealer, 8-10 people?
