So exactly one month ago I was bitten by the Vineyard Casino Chip Bug. I was able to put this set together from three sources. 25 of the $5's are BCC and 50 of the $1's are too. I would like to get 75 more $5's and 44 $1's to make it an all Paulson set. (Larry o_O)

Just one month ?!? WOW ! That's really impressive !!
Congrats and thanks for sharing :)

Nether. They're RHC (I believe RHC, Paulson though).

Awesome set. Was always one of my favorites.

What makes me sick to my stomach is when these were first offered on eBay I talked to the person listing them and could have bought a set for $1.10 each.

Thought that was a little pricey - what a dolt I am....

Of course that was right before I passed on the PNY chips at $1.25 each too. You would have thought I had learned my lesson.

DOH!!

lol at $1.25 I could have bought a truck load for what these cost. They are very nice chips and it seems the longer I wait the more the price would go up so I finally jumped on board.

Most people in my games would rather play with tons of fives rather than high denominations. I'm thinking about selling the rack of 20s but I really need to find another rack of $5's.

Magoo you've done it again! Congrats on building an amazing set! And kudos for the speed in which you did it!

Vineyards to me are what Terrible's are to some others. I really don't like giant inlays (some hate the Terrible's). The Vineyards won't ever be on my wishlist, but you cannot deny that it is a fabulous set. I really like looking at them, would love to play with them. The Cali colors are great and this is an epic set in particular with 1,2,3,5,20,100. Sure, moar is always better but I can't see a game this won't work for on one table. One month? Wish I had that kind of chip karma. :D

Thanks all, I love the $5's! I have always wanted a Cali color set (other than my customs). I usually don't go for the oversized inlays either but these are sooooo nice. I am bummed that they were scheduled to see the felt tonight but I had to cancel due to not having enough players :(

Yeah, I love the $5s too. My all-time favorite giant inlay $5s (along with the Bahamia milleniums, which no one else really seems to like).

I also really like both the $3s and the black $20s; like the $1s. But have no use for the $10s and $25s, and absolutely can't stand the color of the $2s.

The real star of the Vineyards to me is the 43mm 8-spot hundos. Certainly my favorite hundo ever, and maybe my absolute favorite poker chip ever.

Congrats on putting that playable set together!

Very expensive set. When I see people have Vineyards and PNY I just know they’re “in-deep” this chip obsession. They’ve crossed over. Cannot be saved. Your average poker player can’t even fathom $1/chip, let alone…

Anyway, I like to think of myself as “can still be saved.” I’ve got enough.

Well, maybe just one more set.

Couldn't agree with you more Larry - the 8-spot $100 is my favorite chip ever. 43mm and absolutely beautiful with the black $20s (and yellow $5s).
Congrats on a gorgeous set.

Larry why don't you post more pictures of your chips ? They are no fun to look at in boxes .... Share the obsession
