I know this fourm seems to dislike bomb pots but I'm spicing things up and our opening bomb pot to entise people to get here on time. The winner of the first bomb pot will get to select one of these little guys and collect the prize inside. A combo of cash game Bomb pots and the emergence of mystery bounties!

Breaking up with holdem was like breaking up with my ex wife. The world just got better and way more exciting.

I consider myself a hold'em player and I enjoy bomb-pots, but it varies by game. Double board PLO, or Holdem yes. Bomb pot circus games, no.

I think bomb pots are great. I mostly play hold'em but I enjoy most variants of poker. It's just much easier to find a hold'em game and I'm not nearly well enough rolled to play plo as my primary game.

I mean I play most things if the table wants to although $100 hold or fold and straight showdowns are not my favorite but it's long term +EV to keep being invited

Exactly. The generalizations and anti-holdem sentiment is tired. I'll happily play anything they play is the WSOP dealer's choice and then some. I also have a lot of fun playing holdem. And I'm a reformed nit. But I like bomb pots.
@wayneomac I guess I'm missing something - it sounds like you're playing cash, but I don't understand where the mystery money is coming from.
