Name that spot.... (1 Viewer)

If one is using Paulson's spot-naming convention, this quiz is remarkably easy...... ;)

It's for the Resource so I figured it could be a community effort. Fill in what you know. :)

If we're using "common" names (like #20 = 8v), then yes, I can contribute (#20 = 8v :D). But if there are other "official" names...

I think the numbers are "Official" but nicknames/CPC convention alternatives aren't too hard:

  1. 2V
  2. 212
  3. 1/4 Pie
  4. 314
  5. 312
  6. 3 Moon
  7. 418
  8. 414
  9. 438??
  10. 412
  11. 2D14
  12. 618
  13. 614
  14. 3D18
  15. 3D14
  16. 3D38??
  17. 2TA316??
  18. 2V+2WSOP ??????
  19. 8A18
  20. 8V
  21. 814
  22. 4V+418??
  23. 4DS18??
  24. 4D18
  25. 4D14
  26. N/A
  27. 3TA316??
  28. 3TA14??
  29. 4TA18??
  30. 4TA316??
  31. 4TSA18??????
  32. 6D18
  33. 8D18
That's my shot at the list you have, but there's some big guesses, and missing spots (like the WSOP pattern).

I think GPI/Paulson uses normal naming conventions, for example,
#20 is called "8 V"
#26, the missing spot, is the WSOP pattern. It is called "4 W"

#26 actually did not exist when those red chip images were made. Later, when they came up with the new pattern, they just made it #26 to fill the "missing pattern."

It is 814 - the same as Ben's Supernova chip. I wonder what it was that I asked for, that they kinda chuckled and said no to... 1014 or 816 maybe... (something about not enough base clay after the punching).

I hope to some day achieve the level of ridiculous knowledge you guys have. :D

Are these all the spots? I don't see the pattern found on Empress hundos. That's one that stands out, are there more?

Nevermind, found it.

Thanks for the help!

New mold and edge spot info will be listed soon in the Resource section. (and a whole bunch of other cool stuff) Here are some new Paulson edge spots that you might not have seen before. Style #35

I like #34.

Someone needs to tell David they're slipping behind in chip-punching technology.

FWIW: I'm calling 35 the "inside moon-pie", until a more appropriate name surfaces.

I'd have to say I want a #35 sample chip just because...

It's like a kaleidoscope.

And what the heck is the base color after all that punching?

Wonder what level that chip is. :)

Yeah, the base color sorta turns into a accessory color. I wanna #35-spotted chip with Premium Decor Ring.

Oh man, #35 , 1/6 pie center flower . I'd love to see that with 3 alternating colours. or 6 alternating colours!
