Can you tell me what does this compare to?

Bud Jones?
Rt Plastic?
etc....

Thanks

The Matsuis soft plastic, in my experience and in my opinion these are probably the most long living chips ever. i have seen and collected chips from Lithuanian first opened casino and the chips after constant use for period of 10 years look almost the same as new, just needed a bit of cleaning. The bud jones are more hard plastic, the bourgogne et grasset after some time can change color and have visual used view on the sides, as well as on front. So matsuis are the ones that show less used condition in longer time period and weigh 11 (40 mm chips) - 12 grams (for 43 mm)

Great set, great breakdown, fantastic manufacturer.

The timing is bad for me, or else I'd be a snap-buyer.

GLWS!

43mm Matsuis are extremely heavy; they have a weight of 14 grams.

Hey, here is the real weight. For example matsui 40 mm chips weigh - 11 gr., and 43 (Grand casino 1000) weigh - 12 gr.

Odd. My Matsui "Blue Sands" 43mm chips have a weight of over 14 grams.

http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/threads/matusi-blue-sands-pics.39111/page-2

"... Here are a few points I came up with:

- Weight: The chips are 14.05ish grams per chip. How did I come up with that number you ask??? Great question - I weighed one chip on my
digital mail scale wich round the grams to the nearest whole gram. Then I weighed 20 chips. One chip came up as 14 grams - 20 came up as 281 grams.
281 divided by 20 is 14.05. Either way these chips are significantly heavier than clay chips. Especially when they are stacked in a set in a birdcage. ..."

Someone buy these so I don't have to keep wishing I was in a position to buy them myself.
