So I have some Eureka 25 cent peach chips that are going to become my $20 Aztar Indiana chips. I am relabeling them however the color matching can't be done close enough to look perfect. We decided to try some other colors. I figured I would ask everyone here to see what the opinions were. They will be used in my cash set with Garden City blue $1, Missouri Aztar pink 50 cent, Indiana Aztar white $1 and red $5's, and black $100 ....if anyone needed to know the colors of the other chips. Any input appreciated as I need to let him know tonight. :)

here's the others ..... the brown 10k chips have been changed since the pic was taken to match the correct RHC mould as the others .... the $10 chips are turning into Missouri Aztar to match the real 50 cents ones

actually the original ones were....but we had to put a clear label on top becasue the labels were not solid with sticking .... as a result, they were too thick and the chips wouldn't stack

I believe so but since everything else is color matched faux shaped I think he wants to be consistent (OCD good move IMO)

If you cannot match it, I would seriously consider trading them for another RHC color.

The best solution I see is none of the above. I would leave a black outline around the hex and then go white as it will match the redbird.

consistency flew out the door many moons ago once he started all that mold mixing

Whoa whoa whoa....... I changed out the 10k chips to match moulds :)
The 2500's bother me but I love that look....I don't see those chips getting any real action anyways so those won't be noticed
The 50 cent chips I had to settle on because Indiana Aztar only had 2.50's but Missouri had 50 cents...... the $10 chips were originally for buy ins before someone on here suggested use a $20. I am selling off most of those $10's

new 10k chips are these:

If you are not attached to that peach color, I'd like to see a bright friggin' yellow RHC chip in the lineup. Then you only have 1 cross mold chip.

If you are not attached to that peach color

That's another problem...I am attached to it. Was carefully selected from a pool of contenders and samples ...... they were originally my $1000 chips because I was too cheap to buy real $1k chips .....then Guinness made a comment while using them (I had a real 1k chip as a card holder to compare) about it would be better to use the real ones......had to go out and buy 60 of those. Couldn't part with the peaches so they are now my $20 dollar bill buyin chips :)

What's funny is I originally was only going to buy 300 chips from Jim at the Chiproom for a small cash set.....now its 1800 chips and still going for my cash and tourney sets

I would just match as close to peach as you can get.

^ This ^

And if you're still not happy with the results you could either go with a regular label like the $5s or with a shape outlined like the $1s...

The $1s are technically color matched, right?

Since they're the big dollar cash chip, you could do a fancy pattern that doesn't have to be a perfect match. A starburst radial gradient between some orangey peach colors, maybe.

I can ask how close the peach is to the actual color. ... might not be bad

...and no reason why you can't get all those chips into play with the right blind structure. The way I see it you have

25-100-500-2500-10000 or 25-100-500-1000-5000-25000
