It's pretty simple for me. The TRK chips I needed or want will never be made available to me plus CPC just makes better sense. I'm a sick puppy but have found some sort of restraint since last summer. It's not much but when TRK come up I'm still able to stay away for now.

Ya, I'm with you here. I really don't get it either. I see people buying up 5-10+ different sets of Paulsons, but then saying TRKs are too pricy... I'd much prefer to have a couple of great TRK sets than 10 Paulsons. The differences aren't insignificant. TRKs are superior in every way, and they're really not that much more. You can get a rack of those Nevada Lodge $1s for $200! That's pretty ridiculous value IMO. These chips are so bright, it's like they're glow in the dark chips with the lights on.

I can appreciate that. Getting enough chips for a full set is pretty important to me too. I probably would have otherwise passed on the Mapes because of that reason alone. I'm not likely to ever secure enough Mapes 1s to make me happy, but they're Mapes!! Lol... So I just couldn't resist

Plus, I could still play them with my Pick Hobson set and be happy.

And besides that, even if you can't get enough chips to make it an ideal playable set... Mapes are so awesome that you could just think of them as little trophies instead of chips, right?
