Please note the rules before posting dibs! This is a giveaway contest, not a dibs-fest.

Just over a year ago I bought my first set of "real" chips from @kmccormick100

and they've served me well. They are PGI Private Cardroom China Clay chips.

Unfortunately they do not fit well into standard 66.7mm racks. But fortunately for you I have 10 70mm racks that fit perfectly and they are included!

One note: these older PGI CCs are known for being quite brittle and that is certainly the case with these. When playing, especially on a hard surface, you'll find little bits of chip dust and even the occasional broken chip. (You can see the fleabites in the pictures below.) But there are so many and so cheap, who cares! They were definitely a big step up for the game I was using them for and the players all noticed and appreciated it.

CONUS shipping will probably be in 2 USPS MRFBs so will run about $28. It might turn out to be less than that because I get a shipping discount at work. For international you'll pay the actual cost, whatever that turns out to be.

There has been a lot of talk about the "PCF community", whether this is a community, and what community even means. My take is that I feel privileged to be a part of a group of great people who are passionate about this hobby. In this past year I have been able to scrap and trade my way up to some fantastic chips (https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/official-empress-star-pron.26726/page-4#post-558880). I have received countless tips and bits of advice from various forum members, often totally unsolicited, and some major help/networking/looking-out from a few others. Time to pay some back :)

----------------------------------

Rules:

1. You must be a new enough chipper that this represents a significant upgrade from your current (or possibly nonexistent) set. Doesn't matter how long you've been a member or how many posts you have.

2. Post your best guess as to the number of poker chips I have in my possession.

3. I will take guesses for 24 hours, until noon Pacific time Saturday June 2.

4. Closest guess to the actual number of chips I have wins.

5. You may edit your guess at any time up until the deadline.

6. Actual count does not include my latest 2 craigslist scores which are en route and have not been publicly shared on the site.

7. Actual count does include a 1000-chip set that I purchased last month and has not been shared publicly.

8. Actual count does include these chips!

9. If you are unable to post in the thread (if you’re too new and don’t have the minimum required post count), PM me your guess and I’ll add it.

A certain amount of sleuthing might get you in the ballpark. I have posted just about every other purchase, sale, and trade I've made, as well as a photograph of my entire collection a few months back.

Good luck!

Awesome gesture @navels you are indeed a great asset to this community, good karma to come your way!!!!

You're a credit to the community! I'm a new chipper, but I'm well underway to assembling my first set and so I'll let this opportunity go to someone more in need. Very cool gesture, @navels!

I'm going to take a wild guess at 9,800 (y) If I win the AS Raffle and these, I suppose I'll have to do this same giveaway again!

Well done sir, way to step up and get someone else well on their way to being a chipper!

That’s extremely kind of you! Great idea and a generous one for sure (y)

10,500 chips. What a great idea. Have only been on this site a few months but have learned so much in a short time.

Great idea.... I had these from the original group buy, very nice chips.
I still have a custom set on these blanks, When I was building a Paulson Tournament set I used a couple of these denoms in a "mixed" Paulson/Palm Clay/CC set.
They play really well together , similar feel.
These will make a great set for someone.

Super cool idea. I'll respect the rules and not enter since this wouldn't be an upgrade from my set. But awesomely generous of you.

My guess is 15,000 chips. This would definitely represent a upgrade over my current set of dice chips :P Thanks for doing this navels, people like you make a community shine.
