Hi! I got interested in collecting casino chips after I recently bought some old chips and postcards from the former six illegal lake house casinos near my house (the collection is still a work in progress.) That sparked an interest in the history and I followed Meyer Lansky's journey from Saratoga Springs to Havana and then Vegas.
For the past ten or so years I've collected old gold coins but the market has priced me out so I've moved on to casino chips.
Right now I'm into the chips from the early days of Vegas especially from the first major casinos like The Flamingo, Dunes and Sands.
I look forward to learning a lot from the long time collectors in this group.
