Straight
We play a bunch of Dramaha variants in my home game, which has 6 regulars, but we've recently added a new player to the group which makes those games a lot harder to play. In an attempt to keep the Dramaha games going, we invented (we think -- certainly may have been played elsewhere) 3-Card Poker Dramaha.
Game play is exaclty the same as Dramaha, except you only get dealt 3 cards instead of 5, and the person with the best 3-card poker hand in the hole wins half the pot. (Reminder that straights beat a flush in 3-card poker, and 3 of a kind is second only to a straight flush.)
We've played it twice (we play a full dealer rotation for the same game, and then a new person picks the next game) and it's likely to become a regular addition to the game. Don't like it quite as much as regular Dramaha or (my personal favorite) 49 Dramaha, but it's a great option if you're playing with more than 6 players!
