Sitting Out
Hey PCF! Joined a few days ago after watching chip reviews on YouTube by Hobbyphilic.
I have an old plastic 500 chip set similar to the "Royal Flush" designs that are common cheapos today. Heavy plastic metal insert chips with reasonable feeling plastic labels, but they do not stack for crap!
I'm hoping to get at least a decent cash set of China clays or a ceramic set. I do need nickels, though. We play a fair amount of 5c/10c games at our house to encourage new players to join in.
I would also like to get a decent tournament set so I can completely retire my plastics. We generally play up to 20 players on 2 tables.
I'd like to say I'm not going to become a "chipper," but I'm sure my wife would agree that I have already begun on that path.
