Greetings chippers. I've been a month-long lurker on this forum - just taking in the wealth of knowledge that has been transferred. Finally I've mustered the courage to create a profile and play a part in the community. Got into no-limit hold'em during the craze of '03 when Moneymaker won it all at the WSOP. Back then I bought a tri-fold felted table top and 1,000ct dice chips and hosted home tournament games and travel games.

Stepped away from poker for a long bit after that, and just recently got back into it due to friendly monthly home tournament that I've been invited into at the start of this year. We play once a month, I placed 1st in January, and 2nd in February (out of a pool of 14 players)

I'll be investing in an upgraded home tournament chip set very soon. Giving consideration to the Lunar Landing Tina web molds, Majestics, or Remix Nexgens - haven't exactly made up my mind just yet (but I'm leaning moreso toward the Tinas - they look amazing).

Greatly appreciate the forum and all its members. Let me see just how far this rabbit hole goes...

Welcome!

I’ve not had majestics, however own a large Nexgen pro set (the old version) and have had a few Tina hybrid samples. You can buy samples from @justincarothers for the Tina, and could always buy a couple of majestics/nexgens to compare from the online stores.

I would lean tina hybrid if doing it again with those options since the style and art from @MrRossKeys is really cool and he does a really good job with the colors in the set.

GL!

Thanks for the helpful info and advice Kam! I couldn't help myself - I already ordered for the April group buy. It's going to be a long 3 months...

Hello and welcome to the party. Congrats on the finishes. Get samples of all the options you are thinking about before pulling the trigger.

Welcome. It will be worth the wait.
Congrats on your purchase. Ive been using Tina no mold chips for 3 years once or twice a month, and they are nice to play with.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome and great advice. Loving this community.
