I have posted a little around here but never intoduced myself. My name is Mike, living in Seattle. I host a bi-weekly seasonal poker tournament series that just wrapped up its inagural season. I also host cash games when I can get enough players together. I just ordered my first set of CPCs for my cash game and I cant wait to get em!!

Welcome! I was born and raised up there. If you've played poker in the north end of Seattle for any length of time, then we almost certainly know each other. Also, if you've ever had someone roll over a K4 and call it "the Travis", I'm responsible for that shitty hand, Haha.

The last place I lived in WA before I moved to CA was also in Lake Stevens.

HOLY SHIT. @RainmanTrail , what a small world.... Not only do I know of the Travis Hand, I've discussed the Travis Hand many times with someone you and I mutually know. Not only that, I know you at one point in your life could make pizzas with the best of them, schooled in Bham, and sometimes would take naps in odd places, like the Northbound lanes of I5 at 60mph for example.



Travis, what's UP man? It's the Travis that worked with you making pizzas in Silver Lake!! Remember me? How you been man? I've thought about you a lot playing poker in the North end over the years. That sounds weird but it's definitely not, you used to work with a dealer that dealt to me a lot at the Highway 9 and Aces, she was a friend of yours that told me about the Travis hand one day and I said "Shhhiiiiiiiittttt son, I already know!!". lol Your name would come up a lot when we talked sharing random stories from back in the day, which mostly centered around you making us laugh or just generally being a good dude.

Anyway, I can ramble, but great to hear from you and I would love to know what life has been like since the last time I saw you, home tournament over off Everett Mall Way if I remember right.

And to the rest of PCF, know that RainmanTrail is a very cool guy and will take your money at cards K4 or no K4!

HOLY SHIT!!! Hahahahaha, that's fucking awesome man! Taking naps on the northbound I-5 lanes!!! Yep, that's me... haha, good times, good times. How the hell are you? Do you ever make it out to the bay area? Great to hear from you!

I've been good man. I've kinda been all over the place since I last saw you. I dealt poker at a few random spots for a couple years (including Hwy 9 - found some of their chips on eBay lol), managed the Royal poker room for a summer, then quit to play cards. I played cards for about 10 years, mostly cash games, then got sick of the stress/lifestyle and decided to finish school and travel. Spent some time in the Philippines, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, DR, Jamaica, Korea, and a few random other places. I moved to San Diego for a few years, and now I've been in Silicon Valley for a couple years working as a data scientist/mathematician.
