Hey all! I'm an avid collector and casino/ resort history nerd, currently based in St. Cloud, Minnesota but born & raised in Southern California.
As for chips specifically, I'm a single chip collector drawing exclusively from Las Vegas and Greater Nevada locations. I also have a massive collection of LV/ NV relics, ranging from gambling items to souvenirs, postcards, ephemera, film/ slides/ photos/ home movies and lord knows what else, including tons of oddball stuff. I also founded a charity-supporting Las Vegas historical preservation project in 2011, primarily focusing on obscure/ bygone/ imploded locations across Nevada. The collection reflects that, but we have items from most locations and all eras, dating from the 2000s back to the 19th Century.
I'm currently undertaking a massive unboxing and cataloging/ organizing phase, as our collection is finally all in one place after over a decade of being scattered about and in storage. As I continue to get the chip collection figured out, I'll definitely be in the market for buy/ sell/ trade to help fund our project's film documentary and LV/ NV history website, both currently in development.
