Amateur home game poker enthusiast from Chicago here. Bought my first set of Monacos from Josh on Apache around this time last year for our home games and I'm already feeling the urge to get another, may even build it out myself (eyeing a certain set right now!). Looking forward to being on here, talking story, and meeting everyone!

Welcome!! Be careful of that itch to buy it will only get worse  :ROFLMAO: Happy to hear another member joining and picking up chips and playing some poker!
Whats your home game set up like?? (Or the one you play at reguarly?)

Cheers! Brie

Thanks Brie! Home games are typically 5-6 handed on my 6ft dining table draped and clipped with the underside of a blanket that sorta imitates felt   The Monacos make up for the jankiness I guess :P We play 0.25/0.50, but with top-offs and reloads, we often see $600+ on the table. Hoping we shift towards 0.50/1 eventually, but everyone seems comfortable with $50 buy-ins right now. Can't complain!

Sounds like a good base group to start out!!! You may want to look into some table topper options, they're great for play, easily portable and relatively affordable!!

Ah you're absolutely right, had a couple I was looking at saved in my Amazon wish list. Going to review them over and pull the trigger on one. Thanks for the reminder!!!

Welcome! Now get out while you still can.
LOL nah I'm already all in.

I would skip the Amazon ones and see if you can grab one from a member here, the Amazon ones are okay they serve the purpose but mediocre quality compared to some I've seen here.

Well don't hold out on us, what set do you have an eye on?

The Garden Citys! Saw them on Apache first and now I’m obsessed and can’t shake it. Seems like the 1s and fracs are the hardest to come by so I’m still scouting around. Will hit the 10 post min and post something on Wanted to see if anyone has an idea, along with the PCF topper that Brie and Saoliver recommended me above!
