Hey all! First time caller, long time listener.

We primarily play 5c/10c and have been playing with my buddies' Monte Carlo chips for the last year or so. I know they aren't quite casino quality but I like the feel of them and they shuffle nice, so something similar to those is fine by me. I can't quite afford Paulson's or any of the nicer sets on brpro (one day), but I am looking for about 500-600 chips around the $100-$300 range.

Any recommendations for a good starter set? I like the look of the Monaco Club and Desert Heat chips but I am worried they will end up being clunky.

Open to any and all advice.
Thanks

After looking at all the beautiful chips everyone has here, then at my wallet, I decided on Tina Ceramics! 50 - 60 cents each after all is said and done.
Will post pictures when my order arrives.

Welcome!

Honestly, what got me starting was this:
Majestics Clay Chips from
Apache Poker Chips
You have a nice selection, also the 5c chip for your stake.
The chips are still in good shape and honestly people like them.

Also you only pay 50c per chip which is very fair.

I recommend the hybrid ceramic chips like the Greek or Web mold, from the Broken Arrow group buys. Plenty of options or get a custom set, all for around 50c each. The current group buy will close soon, but there will be one almost every month.

Apache has web mold chips in stock, but no 5c chips in those sets.
I do recommend getting samples of any chips that you're considering before pulling the trigger.
