Casino Collectibles Association Life Member #2471-52 for 23 years. I have been collecting Nevada Casino Chips & Memorabilia since 1995.

At this point I only collect $5 Nevada Obsolete House Chips with inlays like the chip shown here.

Nice chips!

Who made those? The first one looks like CPC but I’ve never heard of a true casino using CPC. Also, I’ve never seen the heart mold - it’s very unique. Is that made by Paulson (to my knowledge they make most true casino chips) or someone else?

Thanks for sharing and educating!

According to Robert Eisenstadt:

RECTANGLES & HEARTS -- heart and rectangle, repeated 11 times. 1950's. Code and Co., Chicago IL. (I have some advertising poker chips on this mold with the imprint "Codes Super Speed Check.") Samples of the mold, though not rare, are uncommon.

And so it begins, the quick and unrelenting spiral of wallet doom.

Welcome to PCF and the other side of chip collecting. :)
Actually I don’t know how I was quoted as saying I bought racks of Sam’s Town $1’s, as I did not.

Except in this case it is true! :) I have bought & sold more live Nevada chips than just about anyone. That is what I did for 16 years, up until November 2016. The LAST thing I need is more racks of chips. :nailbite:
