I asked a buddy of mine to grab a rack for me next time he went to the local casino here in MD. Knowing they use Paulson chips, I assumed the racks would be marked PAUL-SON or GPI. Was surprised to see a different name on it. The rack is marked UNIQUE ENT. 702-649-5002, RACK 4200. It's a nice rack and fits mint Paulson's and older casino used THC chips nicely. I emailed the sales manager for Unique Enterprises Inc.(Las Vegas) and he told me he would sell the racks to me. $3.25 each + shipping (I'm assuming). He said they were currently out of stock, but would have more in 5 weeks. He told me the Unique 4200 rack uses the exact same mold as the Paulson racks. I know the Paulson racks I own do not look the same (so i don't know how true that is)...but mine are older. I put some of my chips in it to show you guys how they fit. Put a dime in front of the first 2 on the left to show the gap. Left to right...Bluz at the Bend (RHC)...lightly used, Horseshoe $1's (newer GPI THC)...heavy use, Private Cardroom (suits mold)...mint, Golden Broken Arrow (older THC)...moderately used and some BCC lucky derby (sun mold)...mint. Chips sit nice and flush in the rack...no popping up chips on the ends like the generic 66.7 racks. Don't like the idea of "borrowing" racks from my local casino, so I think I'm going to order some of these.

Can confirm. I have one rack from them, and it appears to be the *exact* same as what Paulson uses for some of their racks. If I could get my hands on them cheaply, they would be the go-to rack for sure.

They look like decent racks..
Will you be posting how to order them, or you think you'll order a bunch. Like a GB ?

Either way i think would be interested in getting at least 12 racks.

Thanks. and good find!

Matt

Definitely interested. Then the problem of what to do with 40+ other racks creeps in...

Yeah if you don't mind running this down first before 4,000 people on PCF start bombarding the poor guy on their own that'd probably be appreciated by all. We're definitely an odd bunch that often finds ourselves dealing with licensed companies that primarily sell to other licensed companies in commercial quantities. Pricing notwithstanding, 100 people wanting to buy 10 racks each might not be worth their handling time and they decide they're not going to do any private person sales.

On the other hand an initial group buy and then one of the established PCF vendors becoming a reseller might be just the ticket, if we can't convince them to become a vendor on their own first ;)

Point well taken...I'll see how he feels about becoming a vendor. I would think if they embossed their phone number on the rack they would want as much business as possible, but who knows. I should know something here shortly. I'll be sure to let you guys know what he says.

well said.

I'd be in for 20 if someone would re-ship to Aus for me (y)

I'll sit tight for now and see what duffman can find out.

Thanks for letting us know mate.

Just got an email from sales manager Bob Morell. He said as long as you order a minimum of 10 racks, he would not have a problem with small orders. He did mention that if we wanted to place a large order, he would discount the racks to $2.75 per rack (.50 off). What do you guys think? I don't want to be a party pooper, but I don't know if I will have time and money to put together a group buy myself. If somebody would like to take the reigns and put it together, I wouldn't mind. Let me know.

Thanks for the update, Duff.

Obviously I can't do the GB management but I'm still in for 20 even though shipping will be over $50.

If no GB happens, I'll hope that Bob will ship them intl for me :)

Guessing that the cost of reshipping would chew up any savings to do a GB. Did he give you the quantity he deemed a large order for those guys that can do a local GB?

Not sure on what he considers a large order. I'll see if i can get some clarification. He also mentioned he has 43mm ($4.75) & 50mm ($7.00) racks for sale.

Seems like a very friendly and responsive guy.

A minimum of 10 isn't bad at all. My guess is that's how they come. In the past when I've done some rack ordering they've been in factory boxes of 10. Now I need to decide if I'm happy with my current setup using the Key West racks or if I should go with these. I've got so many frigging extra racks already...

What's the story with the horseshoe .25 chips? Are they re-labeled lucky derby $5's?
Exactly. If you look around, you'll see people are making Horseshoe quarters out of all kinds of chips. A lot of people are going the expensive, flashy route. I went the cheap, drab route, but I think they work well with the other chips.
Whatever you want to do you can talk to @Gear for the labels.

Those look great! Been looking to make some frac's for mine too. When I decide, I'll definitely contact @Gear

Just 'borrowed' a Paul-son 24010 from the local casino & can confirm they are identical to the Unique Ent. 2400 rack. If I get a chance, I'll post some pic's.

Bob got back to me. Racks should be back in stock in ~4 weeks. They accept credit card payments.

How are you providing your credit card details?

Phone or does Bob provide a secure web form?

Not sure how he takes payment. Was going to email him in a few weeks once he has them in stock. May just give him my CC info over the phone.
