Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this forum and have been passionate about poker for the past two years. I've been having roughly 2 home games a week and was wanting to get some better chips.

I've looked at a number of different types of chips and I'm quite fond of Majestic, Tiki Kings, and Milanos.

Does anyone own these and could you give me your thoughts on those what you feel about them.

Was also wondering if anyone knows where to get these at a lower cost since I'm located in Australia and the shipping cost is insane!

hi aussie

welcome

there are a few of us here.

and i agree shipping plus the aussie dollar is a killer. BUT there are a few of us here who have lots of chips so call out to the aussies. you just might get lucky

Geoff

Welcome.

Can’t say I’ve owned any of the chips you mentioned, although I did have a few racks of pharaohs China clays and they were a decent starter set. I can mail you a couple if you want to see how they feel. I’ve had them about 7 years though and they seem to have gotten drier and harder with age.

As @CHP TD says, we get slugged here in Aus with the currency and shipping.

Get some in your hands and compare - just looking doesn't really help. I got some milano and majestic samples from Apache and have a tiki sample on order from brpropoker. Actually, I think they are all from the same seller just different websites and @Apache is a member here so get in touch with them and maybe you can get samples from all three sets in one shot.

Welcome :)

Always a great idea to get samples. That way you can handle them too.

Best wishes in getting exactly what you want.

My best Jeff

Great option is the Paulson Elites from Apache. Casino quality chips with clearly marked denoms.

There are no cheap chips for Aussie folks. Your mailing costs lots!

Welcome and start saving door the dream set!
