Welcome, you have stumbled into the most wonderful blessing and the worst ever curse. Here on this incredible forum you will learn a lot about chips from a bunch of REALLY smart people and you will most likely spend a lot of money in the process. So, let me be one of the first to tell you to get samples before you buy, talk with people here about what you are wanting the chips for (things like will you be playing cash games or tournaments, how many people will be at your table(s), etc). Then, take your time.

Now, if you are like me and probably most of the wonderful people on this forum, you will ignore 75% of what I said and by this time next year you will have something in the range of 40,000 chips and still be looking for more and your bank account will be weaker because of it. But you will have an awesome collection of beautiful chips and you will love it.

So, good luck to you and I will enjoy hearing from you in a year to see how you did!
