It's a week until Thanksgiving, but I just can't wait to share my thankfulness. It took me a couple years to put together, but my mixed TRK set is finally complete! I wanted the set to showcase a spectrum of chip options and casino locations, but still work together as a whole. Hope you all enjoy it!

For starters. I wanted a hotstamp, which also gave me the option for any size small blind. The solution: the gold Jessie Beck's Riverside non-denom.

Up next is a chip combining the mad skills of @Gear + King's Crown $5 chips + some retro Aladdin love = a dollar chip that just pops. Can't say enough good things about how amazing these inlay replacements turned out! Amazing work from a true artist.

The heart of the lineup is the classic Mapes $5. Can't really go wrong there. The chip edgespots also match the yellow from the $1, the black from the hotstamp, and the green from the $25. Lots of time spent searching the chip database for color options.

I wanted multiple casinos to be featured, in addition to edge spot options. The colors from the Fitzgeralds $25 were perfectly aligned with the rest of the set, and a 4d14 pushed it easily into the set. I love the big font size, which really makes the chip pop in any pot.

Not a lot of hundos make it into my game, so finding a quarter-pie that also had the shock value colors of the Pick Hobson Riverside $100 made it a clear choice.

I love the Cali, Nevada, and Vegas history associated with the chips, and am both ecstatic and sad that the set is finally complete. Thanks to all who contributed, and looking forward to my next chip adventure! If you are in MN, look me up for a game....

Nice job Forrest. I have always liked the Mapes but I really think the STAR of this set is the $1 chip. They turned out great and would love to have thought of that idea. You know me and my love of Vegas chips! Aladdin $1 FTW!!!

Absolutely beautiful Forrest - the $1's are over the top fantastic. You did a great job bringing this set together. Congrats :)

Thanks for the kind words, all! The $1s exceeded what I thought was feasible. If you have an idea, Chris is a guy with the skills and capability to make it real. Can't recommend him strongly enough. And special props to Paulo for his help as well, thanks brother!

Yes, I may sell some chips before the holidays: extras in other sets, and possible options that didn't make the cut for this set. More to follow, now that leaded TRKs are officially off my wish / to-do list....

Especially any light blue chips with yellow, orange and white (1TA316) spots

Wasn't Kings Crown the same location as Aladdin ? Did that enter into your thought process on those dollars @inca911

Actually yes, you know things!

Kings Crown in Vegas was denied a gaming license in 1964, so it never had actual gaming using the chips. The KC property was bought by Milton Prell in 1966, who turned it into the Aladdin! I just love that connection. Sharkey Begovich bought a big quantity of the KC chips and dug out the inlayed centers to make his own stickered chips. You sometimes see them show up on eBay. I'm just copying him.... ;)

Did someone mention the PCF 2018 Calendar???

By acclaim? No voting necessary on this one...
Agree!

Fantastic chips, and I’d really love to play with them, you lucky man!

Keep the sadness away by playing with them as much as possible.

Pretty nice work on all of the intricate color matching in this set, Forrest. I can't think of another set (mixed or not) with this much precision in that regard, and it paid off in spades with how the final choices all work together. Well done! (y)
