It's a week until Thanksgiving, but I just can't wait to share my thankfulness. It took me a couple years to put together, but my mixed TRK set is finally complete! I wanted the set to showcase a spectrum of chip options and casino locations, but still work together as a whole. Hope you all enjoy it!
For starters. I wanted a hotstamp, which also gave me the option for any size small blind. The solution: the gold Jessie Beck's Riverside non-denom.
Up next is a chip combining the mad skills of @Gear + King's Crown $5 chips + some retro Aladdin love = a dollar chip that just pops. Can't say enough good things about how amazing these inlay replacements turned out! Amazing work from a true artist.
The heart of the lineup is the classic Mapes $5. Can't really go wrong there. The chip edgespots also match the yellow from the $1, the black from the hotstamp, and the green from the $25. Lots of time spent searching the chip database for color options.
I wanted multiple casinos to be featured, in addition to edge spot options. The colors from the Fitzgeralds $25 were perfectly aligned with the rest of the set, and a 4d14 pushed it easily into the set. I love the big font size, which really makes the chip pop in any pot.
Not a lot of hundos make it into my game, so finding a quarter-pie that also had the shock value colors of the Pick Hobson Riverside $100 made it a clear choice.
I love the Cali, Nevada, and Vegas history associated with the chips, and am both ecstatic and sad that the set is finally complete. Thanks to all who contributed, and looking forward to my next chip adventure! If you are in MN, look me up for a game....
