Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has posted helpful information regarding chip purchasing (too many to name) and I'm happy to say that I've picked up my first tournament set thanks to what I've read here! Looking forward to learning more and playing with chip distributions that actually make sense.

Thank you! I decided on an Isle Pompano Beach T25 set that was available here in from TheChipRoom. I've been wanting casino chips for a while and the price was in budget. Now that I've got the bug I'll probably start piecing together a cash set too.

It's nice to see another Oregonian. Hope your tournament set is exactly what you were looking for. Have you been hosting tournaments for a while?

Nope, mostly just wanted a set of chips for casual home games, but I would like to try home tournaments eventually!
