Hello All! Wanted to introduce myself which feels weird because I haven't used a forum in years (didn't know they were really still used!). I'm pretty new to poker and started playing for the first time in casinos this past October. Prior to that I played 10, maybe 12 years ago at home when I was kid with my family, I remember we'd get uncles, aunts, grandparents and all of us would sit down and play poker at the big kitchen table after having a meal. As I've started to really get into and enjoy the game I've decided I want to pick up a set of chips to play at home again with friends and family and the internet lead me here to do research.
I went ahead and grabbed some samples of a couple sets
- Majestic Card Room
- Royal 43mm
- Pharaohs
- Showdowns
At first I was really excited about the Showdowns because of the price but when they arrived I wasn't a huge fan of the colors. I think I've landed on wanting to pick up some Majestics for a home 1/1 1/2 cash game. Damn shame theyre out of stock till January at Apache.
Anyways, not sure how active I'll be, but definitely see myself coming here because the amount of information y'all have and the history of conversation is huge.
