Who wants in?

I was thinking we could do a one time buy in. Say 20 bucks? pick all SAT/SUN/MON NFL games. Picks will be made vs the spread from USA Today.

If we get more than say 7, we could do a payout structure pending the number of participants.

The spreads are usually posted on TUE. I'll do my best to have them up TUE. afternoon.

Your picks will have to be posted in this thread to be valid. No editing your post after the game has started.

Anyone interested? We could start week 4 of the NFL season.

If your interested in doing week 3. We could make it 5 bucks a person. It could be a "test" run.

Post if your interested in the season long Parlay and/or a week 2 parlay.

This contest starts in week 3 and runs through the entire regular season. There will be a one time entry fee of 20.00's paid via snail mail or paypal. If wanted, I could accept the 20.00's now from everyone, or we could just pay the winners individually at the end of the season. Either is fine by me.


If we have 7 or less players it will be a winner take all.

8-11 players pay out the top two

12+ players we pay out the top three.

I'll take suggested payout percentages if you have an opinion.

Once we start with week 4 using Yahoo I believe they allow picks to be made 10 minutes before game time.

Only one game this week I'd give up double digit points on and it's sitting at -3... No way the colts start 0-3, they win by 3 TDs.

Careful of the Seattle, could be this weeks bracket buster when Clausen goes to Royal 10 times (3 for TDs)

For the week 3 test run my suggestion is to just hold off on payment. We can all just ship 5 bucks to the winner.

When we do the season long parlay I'll gladly accept the 20.00's via paypal FF.

We won't have to worry about editing posts and shit. It will be done via Yahoo.com. As for editing your picks. I don't think its a big deal as long as you don't do it after the deadline. All edits are time stamped. If you edit at 130. Then your picks will be invalid.
