NFL Week 17 Picks, done a little bit differently (1 Viewer)

Most FFL playoffs are done. Lets do some NFL picks for week 17.

$5.00 entry, winner take all. Just hold the five bucks back and we will each pay the winner.

Picks will be straight up, no spreads. However, lets assign a point value to each game. There are 16 games. Pick your winner and then provide a different point value for each game between 1 and 16. Then we'll add the points of your correct picks and whoever has the most points wins. If there is a tie the pot will be chopped.

Picks must be in by 12:55 on SUN. No editing your posts after 12:55 on SUN.

Nice. I do a season long confidence pick em (no spread) w/ weekly and season-long payouts. It's a lot of fun. I'm going to need to pick some big underdogs and put lots of points on them if I want to have a shot at the season title (only won 2 weeks).

Same. These were actually my introduction to gambling when my dad let me join our families weekly "14's" when I was seven. We called them the 14's as back then it was 14 games every week with no byes... some stuck with it and call them the 16's now but most simply refer to it as THE SHEET. $10 per week with an optional $25 side wager that is winner take all to total points winner for the season... been playing these with the same core group of 12-16 family members for 35 years now and running it for the last 25.

Unfortunately many in my family tend to resist technology... tried moving the group to Yahoo so everyone can deal with their own picks and let me be a 100% "work free" commish but it fails miserably so I am still stuck with people calling/texting/emailing in their picks and doing weekly spreadsheets.
