If a member gets these, I’d be very grateful if you considered me for the yellows. And if I couldn’t use them, would gladly give back, or resell to the community

Did anyone get these? I just saw them in person (picking up some other stuff from the auction) and they looked really nice. Much better than I expected.

I thought about it, but it was a 2 hour round trip drive and needed to be picked up this weekend, so I balked (ie I'm lazy). Was also a bit distracted by yesterday's earthquake lol. They were still at like $15 with 5 minutes to go, curious on the final price.

I bid it up to around $80. I'm still kicking myself for not going higher. Kinda felt bad bidding up someone I assumed was a PCF'er.

Well damn, apparently these were originally at an antique shop about 5 minutes for my house, unbeknownst to me.

Please don’t feel bad about competitive bidding with members. It’s all in good hobby fun.

Sometimes, it can help to state your interest in case of a follow up transaction — e.g. “I’m needing a barrel of the blues, and will be participating in the bidding. Good luck!”

Regardless of if you win or lose, you might be able to work something out after the auction where two parties can mutually benefit. This doesn’t always happen, but it can occasionally. And even if it doesn’t work out, we can still wish competing bidders good luck.
