Hey guys, I’m not super creative, and over the years love what some of you have done with custom chips.

Question is, has anyone ever let others use their design for chips? I’m not sure what I’m looking for but would possibly pay to use someone else’s design.

I am NOT trying to sound like a jerk, I genuinely am trying to be helpful and don’t mean any attitude.

If you want to use someone else design, why not just stick with casino chips? Or at least use casino chips until something inspires you?

And I’m sure some of the guys would be happy to share designs (or similar at least)! Good luck with the custom journey! :)

Yeah I'm pretty sure there are quite a few guys on this forum who will design you some chips. @JeepologyOffroad comes to mind, as I know he has created a lot of stock designs people have used for card mold orders. I think they generally ask for some of your ideas/input. Honestly I would just look around at the ceramic stock designs that are out there. @justincarothers has a lot of them linked in his monthly buys, there is also a showcase thread on his vendor page as well as check out the individual monthly buys as people often post their mocks as well as their haul when the chips come in.

If you want even more inspiration/ideas check the older Tina ceramic group buys on the group buy forum, tons of designs on there. Honestly if you find a casino chip that you really like you can probably have some one just mock it up (or close to it) for a ceramic chip purchase. The newer web and Greek molds are looking a lot more like casino chips anyways.

Here is the consolidated card mold thread is has a lot of the stock designs and who made them. Those with linked designs are ones you might want to contact and see if they are doing any design work https://www.pokerchipforum.com/thre...ramics-master-consolidated-info-thread.65544/

Which designs in particular have caught your eye?

Reach out to a designer of chips you like and see if they can be a sounding board to help you create your own. Alot of good chip designers are happy to assist and guide, and can push you to make something your own.

To be honest, there is a LOT of crappy real casino chip designs out there. Of the ones I personally, like, and I'm sure the OP will have a different opinion on what they like, if I wanted to buy a set, I would be spending $5,000+ which, at the moment, is not in my wheelhouse. And pretty much all of those sets I really like, come from casinos outside of Nevada.

I've seen numerous custom chip designs on this forum I'd consider to be well above better-designed than the vast majority of casino chips I've seen, past and present. Some of the designers here should be working for the casinos... Just sayin'.

@mattross1313 is a designer here. He is very good at what he does. I bet if you give him a rough idea of what you like, he can come up with something totally unique to you that you will love.
True story. Here's what I sent him...

Lmao...mattross is great!! :ROFLMAO:

Just wanted to add that there will be more and more sets likely come available for the chips that Justin offers. I believe that is a fantastic opportunity for those that aren't going to pay to design their own inlay and don't have the budget for CPC. I am wrapping up one that I plan to allow others to use.
