Just like most of you, would love authentic high quality chips to host a regular game.

Came here after watching youtube videos about brands, styles, materials, etc.

Would love to see some pics of cool vintage chips & get experienced opinions about live game equipment.

Thanks for having me,
-Duder

I'd start with the "Gallery" section to find what you like. Plenty of quality options here.....more than you could want really

i have a lot of regulars to play with but i wouldn't let some of them touch my nicest chips at this point. another problem with deep chipping.
There are plenty of people who feel the same way, but I say you gotta get over that. If a poker chip is too fancy to use in a poker game, then it’s useless. Maybe it even ceases to be a poker chip.
Oooh, a new philosophical debate!

I have a particular player (or two depending on the second's inebriation level) that if he RSVPs "yes", then we are using my RHCs or CCs. "No" and it's all fair game. Some people are just perpetual sloptards. Don't blame the poor chips for being above them!

If I read the title correctly, the OP has absolutely no crew to play with.
Admittedly, recruiting a crew of nice, honest guys seeing poker as an intellectual game is VERY hard and cannot be bought with money, unlike chips, tables, chairs, lighting, card decks and dog rollers.
It's a never ending procedure, but, hell, it must be less difficult in North America than anywhere else in the world, in terms of game popularity.
In Greece, that level of popularity is enjoyed only by backgammon, which anyway requires just two players (a game I never bothered to learn).:)

If you want to play $20 buyin it’s very easy. If you want to play $200 or especially $2000 buyin games it gets harder.

Hello and welcome!

What do you mean nobody to play with? You're in the USA, so potentially more than 330 million game participants!
I hit the casinos locally when I have the itch to play poker.
I just meant that I collect games & hobby equipment, I have grand designs but I rarely use them as often as a should.
For example I have a bunch of expensive beer brewing gear that I don’t use often enough.

Hmm, free home craft beer tasting and then poker afterward. Might work
