I have been using Copags for almost a year now. However, I have wanted to venture out for a couple of reasons; one, being that I want to see what else is out there and two, the strong chemical smell that comes off of them is unbearable. I have purchased several Copag setups to see if perhaps it is a one-off issue but that is not the case. So below this, I have compiled a list of almost every card brand I could find and a vague indication of price. Below that list there will be a description for each brand as to where you can find them and a brief review of the card if I have had experience with them.
Before I begin I want to thank all the people who have contributed in the surrounding threads to help me compile this little list. If there are others that I have not mentioned, please feel free to name them as well as where you might be able to find them, the cost (doesn't have to be exact), and your experience with them. Without further due...
Current List
Bicycle Prestige: $
Marion Pro: $
Lot Fancy: $
Gemaco: $ - $$$
Modiano: $$
Fournier: $$
Dal Negro: $$
Royal: $$
Faded Spade: $$$
Kem: $$$$
Bicycle Prestige
Can be bought off Amazon or other online websites. They feel very similar to Copags with a slight hint of the Copag smell, however very faint. Easy to shuffle, they have that sandy like texture.
Marion Pro
Can be bought off of Amazon and other online website like texaspokersupply.com (as of February 27, 2025)
Lot Fancy
Can be bought off of Amazon and Walmart
Gemaco
Can be bought manufacturer-direct in large quantities at a minimum of 2000 on their website (for those who are maybe running their own card rooms). I also found them on kardwell.com (as of February 27, 2025)
Modiano
Can be bought off of pokerchiplounge.com and Amazon. (as of February 27, 2025)
Fournier
Seem to be harder to find. It appears you can purchase them off Amazon however, you cannot get them consumer-direct.
Dal Negro
Also harder to find but it appear you can purchase these off of Dal Negro's shop which is not English. I'm assuming you will also need to pay an expensive shipping fee.
Royal
These can be bought from a few places. I have just bought a set of Royal cards, and am very disappointed. They riffle nicely however, they have a glossy-flat finish on them which I believe makes them extremely hard to push together. I would even say that they are as bad or worse than the Bicycle cards you can get at Target or Walmart.
Faded Spade
Can only be bought consumer-direct.
KEM
You guys know the story with KEM. Can't hate, but can't love 'em? They're not trash, but for the price?
