The $1 and $5 chips from the new Ocean Resort/Casino in Atlantic City. Very much like the colors on the TH&C mold. Chips are basic yet the inlay uses the logo well. Lighting isn't great on these as the edge spots on the $1 are a nice blue color. Only played poker and made sports bets so didn't grab the 2.50. Chips are much better than the god-awful chips for what the building used to be.

I like the inlay.

Here's pics from the chip board of all their chips.

Speaking of NJ casinos, how bout the Hard Rock's chips? Now those are some snazzy chips. The house mold on the other hand is strange with it being so close to the edge. I feel it should take up equal proportions of the chip.

I very much like both casinos chips. Hard Rocks are probably my favorite having the words and the denominations stamped into the mold. Not surprised that Ricky has pics posted already. Had a feeling he would get his hands on chips pretty quick lol.

Ocean does use the logo really well on the inlay. I think the design of the logo by kind of incorporating the building (sort of) into the E in the word. Great design work. I think that building will be far more successful than its previous incarnation. The sports book alone will make them a fortune

I was wondering how Ricki knew what the chips looked like before opening day?

He most likely went down for the soft opening Monday or Tuesday so he could get the chips as mint as possible and without too many people there. I was there by Thursday afternoon and even some of the HR singles I brought home are a tad dirty

It looks like they're changing their logo. Does that mean they'd update their inlay/chips as well?

I asked them on social media and all they said was they'll be rolling out changes over the next few weeks. I'd like to think theyll get brand new chips and we can get our hands on the current ones once they are obsolete before they send them off to be destroyed, since NJ DGE law requires it.

Unlikely you will get them ... I believe they are live forever in NJ hence why they destroy them.

just got an email about their 1 year anniversary commemorative chip. anyone have a picture?

I'll be there Thursday to get my hands on a chip. Will post a pic if no one has by then.
