Hey I found these locally and had some questions. I believe they are all from the same timeframe. Did leaded Paulson pink or radiant red weigh lighter?

The others seem to weigh leaded at least I think they do. Let me know if I’m wrong.

Finally any thoughts on this colour? I don’t have a sample. I’m leaning to radiant red.

Oh and last last thing. The stamp PAX is this stamp common? In Prince Albert Saskatchewan they had casino nights and the cash chips in the chip guide show a denom and PAX. Would be neat if they came from there. They are all in amazing condition. Can’t confirm but they look unused.

Thanks.

Most likely cherry. Paulson used that color for most of their solids. If your selling im a buyer im building a solid set.

I don't think this is true. Paulson used their plain "Red" most often (like with Starbursts), which is generally considered a bit on the darker side of red shades. If you have racks of Cherry, then congratulations on being able to get a lighter and consistent shade among racks. When Paulson had their brick-and-mortar stores and were taking mail orders from the public, they were probably offering from a larger colour palette (which probably included reds such as Cherry, Radiant Red, and Royal Red.

All my money is on radiant red. And yes, there are many leaded chips even in the low 9g. It's color dependent. Day Green is often very light for example. Whites tend to be heavy.

Awesome to know. Maybe once the postal service goes back to work I will send a chip to a Canadian member to make sure it’s radiant red. Most of the chips are pretty used but I think there’s 3 racks of excellent/near mint radiant reds which makes it a sweet find.
