I'm going to try something new here. I am pairing this sales thread with a "purge-a-thon" Every $25 spent in this sales thread equals one entry into the purge for free chips. purge will be posted later today. Orders/entries will stop at the end of the month, and purge-a-thon to happen shortly after. I plan to have three winners, 1st, 2nd, 3rd prizes, details will be posted in different thread.

This is the first batch of lots for sale, prices are for chips and shipping is extra. Lots are pictured horizontally.

Note that this is a raffle, and is both illegal and against PCF policy.
How is it a raffle when he is not selling tickets? He is having a giveaway for the people that actually buy his items. It is more of a bonus for the people that make purchases. Is it a problem because it is exclusionary?

I guess i need to get woke here on PCF so I don't hurt any feelings. It is 2022 after all.

Please let me know what I should call this thing, or how I should do this so as not to upset or offend anyone. I'm just trying to do something different here. Give away chips.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it. It is a giveaway to the people that buy from you. Someone appears to be upset because they aren't eligible for the giveaway without actually making a purchase, and apparently in 2022, that isn't "fair"... Oh well

@Tommy , If any of this is against policy, or you just don't like it for whatever reason, please let me know and I'll take it down/change the rules or whatever. @CrazyEddie had some concerns, I just want to make sure this is on the up and up.

I see you joined in 2020, so I'm not sure if you were around when the raffle craze was around, but the type of raffles that were banned were the ones selling raffle tickets for cash, for a chance to win a set. (They started out somewhat tame, but kind of got out of hand.)

What @casinochipper22, who is a Vendor on PCF, is more of an awards program/giveaway for buyers of his merchandise. I think that's completely different than the type of raffles that were banned.

Google the phrase "no purchase necessary".

I don't speak for Tommy or the PCF administration, and I encourage @casinochipper22 to do as he sees fit.

you are speaking for tommy and the PCF admin by saying its against PCF rules. If it is against PCF rules, then they will let me know and I'll change the structure of this whole thing. Thanks for the heads up.

Vendor or not a raffle is literally rule number 1, this by definition is a raffle. I would have no issue either way, but I would say lets fix the rules or uphold them.

I am grateful to @casinochipper22 that he is a vendor and the services he provides, also he is fun at meetups.

Attacking someone that is trying to protect the site, or ensure the quality of the site for all is subpar and not becoming of a member.

In some cases, I can see someone attempting to get around our no raffle policy by offering/selling an item with little or no value in order to win something else, but I do not think this is the case here. Members can purchase an item they want for x amount of dollars and as a bonus, may qualify for a chance to win something else.

Our no raffle policy was enacted after receiving feedback from the members. ex: selling $600 worth of tickets/chances for a $200 item, members putting out money and walking away empty handed, etc.

@casinochipper22 's offering is OK.

Thanks for the info. I wasn't trying to attack Eddie. I really just thought it was funny. You can't do much these days without it being the wrong thing to do. I feel like I need to include a warning sign with all the chips I sell...
"WARNING! Do not eat these chips! Severe choking hazard!"

not at all, I would encourage discourse, I think it was obvious you weren't trying to attack anyone. I'm glad Tommy chimed in for clarification.

I messed up and missed the quote, once I noticed I added it.
