I've been collecting these for a bit, but I haven't posted a wanted ad lately. I'm looking for any of the original foxwoods chips from the 90's - the THCs pictured below - in any amounts, singles or lots. If you've got 1 or 100, please let me know.

IIRC regulation dictated the casino location be printed on the chip (city, state)

Right. At first I thought - maybe he’s right; maybe that regulation only applied to the $25s and up? So they had to make new ones? For a second I thought, hmm, maybe?
And then I remembered that the primary $25s were live, because I remembered playing with them! Ha!

What happened to this chip? Is mail polish remover used to remove the hotstamp? Seems to have done a bit of damage to the chip. At least looks very similar to what some of my chips looked like after a small murder mistake with mail polish remove.

You know, I guess I never took a close look at it. That’s exactly how it came to me, from eBay - I didn’t remove the hot stamp myself, so I can’t say.
