On the road again… (7 Viewers)

Gone for two days and these beauties pop up. Nice find! Wonder if this will be the fate of the inlays…

Of the 11,000 chips produced, 4,000 of them will go for sale/auction. There will be an individual & total limit to the amount of racks you can claim dibs on the first 24 hours. With the relabel potential and flexibility of the color schemes for adding to your current sets, the issue of getting a “playable set” seems less problematic than usual.

The 40 racks are being offered at cost, on average. That does not mean every chip will be offered at the exact same price. It means if you add up the 36 racks in the dibs sale, the average price will equal my cost per chip. I will provide a transparent list of expenditures when home (i.e. chip purchase, plane ticket, rental car, 1-night hotel stay, food because I’m fat, and gas). Off the top of my head, I would expect the 40 racks to be offered up around the $9/chip range. I wish it were lower but compared to what other fantasy chips are going for, I can live with the hate of a few members.

Dibs Sale:
$1 x 600
$5 x 200
$20 x 100
$25 x 600
$100 x 600
$500 x 100
50mm x 200 (By The Barrel)
NCV 39mm x 1,000
NCV 43mm x 200

Auction: (Individual Auctions)
$5 x 100
$20 x 100
$500 x 100
NCV 43mm x 100

Dibs on a rack of $100s

Is this not how it works?

If given the opportunity to create a custom set of GPI's, I doubt I'd pay $9/chip. The market is so fuct right now.

The 'at cost' pricing seems so generous... Until you realize you are paying for super size fries too...

As an aside, Rob is the first chipper I’ve ever met in person. Couldn’t have been any kinder to me. A real treat to get to hear stories and talk chips with someone else in person.

I've had limited interaction with Chicken Rob, and I don't have a bad thing to say about him. But he just sold you (by your numbers) 10,0000 chips at a cost of $90,000 for something he paid (I'm guessing) less than $15,000 for.

I think he could've been kinder.

Just sayin'.

I’m personally not a fan of communism.

Rob is a great guy. Tell me, if you had a huge stash of one of a kind chips and someone made you a sick offer like that, what would you do? I can't say I wouldn't at least think about it, 90k or whatever he was paid is life changing money for a lot of people.

All that aside, it incentivizes others to figure out any way they can to make incredible chips like these that can eventually be shared with the community.

You get them done and I’ll pay a premium for it. Thank you for your service.

10,0000 chips for $90,000 is a price I could definitely get behind!

Chicken Rob sounds like the Macgyver of fantasy chips.
He is not the same guy who sits silently on his porch with strangers? Just asking..
