I’ve been a fan of Kem cards for a long time, even after they bought the us playing card company, but the quality is so poor it’s not if the bow, it’s when

Looks like new packaging maybe they’re trying to send a message that it’s changed, but it’ll take a long time to rebuild the reputation.

Very polarizing, you will get a large range of answers, some love them, some hate them. Back in the day they were the gold standard but those days are long gone.

For $55/setup they are way overpriced, much better choices for cards out there in the market. Just search the forums, the KEM subject has been covered ad-nauseam.

I love KEM but they're gonna cost you. I agree with the other posters about the costs and the bowing. I've been ridiculously careful with mine and the bowing is getting bad.

I still love how they feel though.

Starting to search for another brand that can hopefully replicate the feel but without the bowing....

So I guess I'd probably ask if they were worth that amount to you as a "disposable" playing card at some point.... which might not be that far down the road.

I think they've thrown in the towel wrt the retail/consumer market. At $56 I can't believe there's any consumer demand left. I have a feeling USPCC only wants Kem around for sweetheart deals to high end poker rooms.

Copag basically owns the worldwide retail plastic playing card market. Everyone else is a niche player.
