Ordered a Barrel of Small Scrown Inlaid Chips (1 Viewer)

I ordered a barrel of inlaid chips this afternoon. It came to $50.00 shipped. My plan is to keep all 20 for a week or two and then sell 10 of them to one member. The idea behind this is that whoever buys them from me, will keep them for a week or so, then sell them to someone else. When the last person gets them they can either keep them, sell them to whomever they want, or sell them back to me.

For 10 chips it will be $29.50 shipped.

I will try to keep an accurate list in the OP of who is next. I'll need your help in bumping the thread when you receive, when you ship, and who you ship it to.

To get a judge of how the mold feels. It's hard to do that with 1-2 chips. It lets you shuffle, cut, etc.

Solid question. Before I spend 1k to 1500 on a set I need to know how it feels, sounds, stacks, weight, ect...... As @Pokerdweebz pointed out. This can only effectively be done with 10 to 20 chips. Its a $50.00 investment to see if I want to spend over 1k.

These CPC Scrowns are incredible. I was hesitant because i love the feel of TRKs and CPC/ASMs do not usually have the same feel. But these chips rock. Ive been handling them since i got my sample today. I've never made a custom set, but I am sold on these.

Plus.....imagine Scrown chips that actually fit snug in a rack~~!!..

I didn't open them until late last night. i'll mess around with them later. I love the look of the mold

20% of the trk mold chips are 8 grams. The rest are 9 grams. At least on my 10 dollar scale.

I really like the mold. They obviously don't feel like TRK's, well, because their not. They do have a different feel than the B mold or FDL mold (the two molds that I own). Its hard to describe. The clay maybe feels a tad harder? They shuffle like butter right out of the box.

Looking forward to seeing a handful of these and getting a feel. In my sample set, the scrown mold does feel substantially different from the rest of the legacy molds, with the exception of maybe the diasqr. I agree they do feel and sound more substantial. I like it, still not sure I want a whole set with that look or if the mold even would fit with my custom idea but nice to have more options and worth exploring.
