There's a particular style of plaque that uses a center decal the way that chips do, so you could overlabel those... but they're not very nice-looking. The plaques are made of ABS plastic, similar to dice chips, and they have a center recess for a printed decal.
Here's one supplier of a particular stock design:

Here's a supplier that lets you specify your own custom artwork for the center label, which means overlabeling isn't necessary:

Even Matsui has a line of decal plaques, which are different from their acrylic plaques:

But decal plaques like these all look a lot worse than acrylic plaques. You can get high-quality acrylic plaques from
MSK, Matsui, and Abiatti - but they're quite expensive. You can get cheaper but still pretty nice ones from Alibaba vendors, including "Tina", who many PCF members have used for cards mold ceramic chips. But there's no way to relabel an acrylic plaque. The designs are printed on thin sheets of plastic, and those thin sheets are then sandwiched and glued between thick molded acrylic plates; to replace the design you'd have to destroy the plaque.
There's a handful of different stock designs available for acrylic plaques from different retailers; Apache Poker Chips has several, and there are some on
eBay. If none of the stock designs meet your needs, you can order customs from
MSK, Matsui, Abiatti, or Tina / Alibaba.

You can also get ceramic plaques. They're like ceramic chips, but large and rectangular. They can be printed with any design you like, but they can't be overlabeled (and there's no reason to do so anyway, since you can get them printed with your own design). ABC Gifts is probably the best source for ceramic plaques. Here's some examples, not necessarily from ABC:
Hope this helps!
