I got a FedEx alert that someone in NY shipped me a 16 lb package with signature required.

The from address is:

WPL
Rob Mark
14702 181st Street
Springfield Gardens, NY US 11413

I have no idea who that is and what they could be shipping me. I am not expecting any packages. Anyone know what WPL is?
I have a FedEx account and use Delivery Manager. I was going to use the intercept feature to RTS it back to the shipper. :unsure:

Looks like the address belongs to a shipping/delivery company of some sort.

Also goes by the name World Wide Package Express based on the what google came up with for the address.

Not sure what to make of it.
 
A quick Google search yielded some interesting and diverse results: Wilfred P Large civil engineering firm, Wavefront Precision Longbow speakers, Women's Premier League Rugby, any number of public libraries, and radio controlled trucks.

This is really strange. 16 lbs is a heavy package too. Looking at the shipper info in Delivery Manager, there is even a reference number (that means nothing to me) for the package.

I'm curious to see what it is but i'm 99% sure its not anything I ordered or am expecting. Might have to take it to my buddy and have his bomb sniffing dog check it out first. :nailbite:

Mystery has been solved! Its an overseas package that can only be shipped to certain states and I offered to help someone out. (which I forgot about) It was suppose to be coming from somewhere else but I guess the shipper used some intermediary service to receive it before it gets to me.
 
I thought maybe it was a box full of Jack Detroit chips, but that would've been a bit heavier than 16 pounds.
