Disclaimer: If Paulson chip augmentation makes you squeamish you should probably stop reading.

I have always been a huge fan of the Palais des Congres chips. There were only two initial drawbacks: they cost too much and the denoms are bizarro. So I was fortunate enough to win a raffle that enabled me to acquire a good-sized set. Then the magic of Gear labels can fix the second problem - I am making the $10 into a $1 and am making the $50 into a $100.

While working on the de-inlaying process I encountered a third problem. I needed to find a frac that fits. I think I found one that I really love....I just need some help finding about 63 more if possible. If I can't find any more "Hank the Bank" chips over time I will likely have to pursue a new chip to use as a frac.

Did you buy all the eBay ones?

I bought all the green ones with the knowledge that it would be difficult to obtain more. But I saw another eBay ad from a place in NC that had single green "Hank the Bank" chip so for some reason I feel they may be out there.

Thought of another decent option last night. Could find another chip with the same spot pattern as the green one to use as a 50cent chip in order to make the current chips and colors playable

Those turned out great! @Gear is a magician. I have no problem with your re-labling of these beauties. Otherwise, with the funky original denominations, perhaps they'd just sit in someone's collection, lookin' pretty while collecting dust. Glad to know that these Palais de Congres will see game action! Of course pron will be demanded when that happens!

Still need to find a frac....but will in time!

Just curious, what colour frac will you seek out? With there being a white chip already and the $5 already a redish/pinkish coulour I reckon those two traditional fractional colours are out. Yellow fracs would look amazing!

See post 1. Yellow would also be awesome I agree

Hank the bank chips:

This one would be perfect as well obviously:

The other ideal choice would be the emerald princess snapper:

None are easy to find

Oh, Hank's the green chip pictured in your OP! I totally brain cramped on that one, thanks for the clarification. Yea, I love it as a frac for your Palais set! That would be unique. Good luck hunting......I hope ya get the 63 (or more) that you're seeking!

Hey guys. Search continues for a 25cent chip. Let me know what you think of these options as well:

Either one of the Barclays chips would work especially with spot progression, yellow>green.

The TX hot stamp look great color wise but 4d14 instead of 3d14 doesn’t fit spot progression ( if that type of thing bothers you)

I thought the 4D14 may work because the $20 is the same. Almost like book-ends

And please don't consider murdering those Maverick-R HS $5's. :wideeyed::wideeyed:

Sell them to me and I'll give them Sanctuary. (y)(y)(y)

Are you saying you already have some? :sneaky:

These are awesome, but the fact of the matter is that I never use them. These may be up for auction soon.
