Paulson 84 Chip Color Sample Set (1 Viewer)

I've always thought a complete Paulson color sample set was 78 chips with the discontinued Royal Blue chip. I have an 83 SCV color chip set on their way to me now. I was told that there are no duplicate colors and it doesn't included the discontinued Royal Blue. Luckily I was able to get the Royal Blue chip elsewhere. So it looks like a complete set is actually 84 chips. I will post scans of each chip when they get here. What are these mystery colors? :::

I checked for extras but did not find any. I'm guessing that these are new colors.

The "extra" six colors are great!

Any idea if these are brand new colors for Paulson or if they are old colors that have been lost to time?


I just compared the list of 84 colors you have to an image that was on Paulson's site at least a couple years ago. Not counting the six new colors and of course the long gone Royal Blue, there are 14 colors in the sample set that weren't represented in the Pauslon color chart:

Desert Flower
Grape
Ice Blue
Lemon Green
Light Pink
Melon
Navy Blue
Ocean Blue
Tan

I'll want to check my sample set now (just a smaller set, likely the 78) and look for the six new I'm 99% sure aren't there but am curious. I also need to check to see if I have Royal Blue or not. I'm not sure as I type this (and my set is a 90 minute drive away right now).

Aren't those new colors coming from BCCs formulas? (which also got some TRKs colors)

These are some other old obsolete colors. They seem to correspond to current colors though.
Silver Cronal = Metallic Silver ?
Silver = Grey ?
Bronze = this is a different bronze than the latest one, which is of more of a brownish color.

Not my chips. I was hunting for some colors and someone posted this on another board.
