Hi Friends,

Hope all is well. I have a ton of these paulson boxes from my recent tiger purchases. My question is if they have any value, or if I should discard them.

I don't ever plan on reselling them (and if for some reason my future kida or family does they would be shipped in justin racks), so I'm wondering if I should just toss them out.

For reference, a watch box adds value to a watch, but a TV box does not add value to a TV. I was hoping people here can share some insight before I chuck these out.

Yeah, don't toss them. But then, I'm a hoarder, so don't listen to me. But I'm finding that I'm buying and selling all the time so my supply of them goes up and down. If you don't think you're going to be an active Trader than just pass them along to someone else who can use them.

Hoping to hop the box train :). If anyone could spare some.

I think a watch box adds value to a watch because the box is unique to the watch. These boxes are unique only to Paulson chips generally, not the specific Tiger Palace chips you have here.

They are worth keeping for any future sales of chips you do. Non-Paulson branded boxes cost on the order of $2/box. I don’t think you can buy the Paulson boxes anywhere directly? So they are probably worth more - maybe $5/box?

But no, they don’t even add 1% to the value of your chips (except for the pedantry that the $5 box is 1% of a $500 rack of chips).

Congrats on your Tiger purchases! :)
I bought similar style boxes from a vendor here in the thread linked above, but looks like they're sold out currently. It's great you asked the community before tossing them. As others have said, I'd encourage you to pass them along to other PCFers before throwing them away; folks need/want them.

Nostalgia is a funny thing, have you seen those YouTube kids who say something like 'Tell me you're a fan of coffee without telling me you like coffee'? Its basically a way to be an elitest or show you're a superfan.

In the future you might buy more chips, its nice to have something to store them in. I've kept my CPC boxes even though I don't use them I may store them that way sometime in the future.

If you want to give them away I'm sure there would be a line.
