Hi all, I’m currently trying to get my hands on a small cash set. I want it to be a Paulson casino set, with inlays.

I’m looking for a set that has matching quarters or fifty cent chips. Here’s the breakdown I’m looking for:

Frac’s x 100
1 x 200
5 x 100
25 x 60-80
100 x 20-40

Chips don’t have to be mint, don’t mind at all if they’re broken in, but don’t want chips that are beat up badly. Seller would have to be ok with shipping to Canada.

I’d like to stay in a $500 - $800 range. Let’s see what you all have to sell:)

Consider a horseshoe set. Super cheap and you can relabel your fracs. Search the forums, you will see some great Work on horseshoe fracs. Might even find some for sale.
Cheers,
Joe

I sold my horseshoe cincy chips, colours were a little too muted for my taste. Grand vic’s are on my radar, but I wanna see what else is out there.

I can’t remember, did Grand Vic’s have a frac in the set?

+1

You can still get them from Todd @The Chip Exchange . 1’s and 5’s are 0.69 each, 25’s are 0.99 each, and hundos are 2.49.
200-1’s $138
100-5’s $ 69
60-25’s $ 60
40-100’s $99.6
Total =$366.60 plus shipping
That leaves you with a lot of $ to search for fracs to relabel(y)

Here is my cash set. Labels by @Gear coming soon to relabel the MGM’s. Fracs will cost me a total of $1.20 each and a BOATLOAD of time! I picked through exactly 3,000 chips to find 2 perfect racks.

I'd go with Aztars (not the Indiana ones) ... they have a nice 50c chip and shaped inlays. Only beef is that hideous $5 chip that doesn't match the rest of the set (which you could find a donor THC chip and relabel)

No frac, but there’s a snapper for both the primary and secondary.

Actually, someone recently posted a WTS for a rack of primary snappers

It might help narrow things down if you say whether you’re okay with relabels as matching fracs or if you’re only looking for chips exactly as they were in the casino

I’m ok with have to relabel the fracs, but that’s the only denom I’d want to do that with.

If I was you I would build a mixed set...this opens up your options. The downside is the set won't be matching as in all "Aztar" or whatever. But on the plus side you get to pick and choose the chips that look good. I think mixed sets are a lot more fun...just my 2c.

In addition, you can allow the set to evolve over time. Say you see some hundo's that are real purdy...well you can swap out your existing hundos.

Since you want 200x 1's if you harvest these yourself it would save you some money as you would only pay face value if you could figure out a way to harvest some that you like. This would save some $$$ rather than paying $2/ea for something from the classifieds.

Leaning towards a set of Grand Vic's, I'll close this thread an start one that's more specific
